LM series vertical roller mill includes vertical coal mill and vertical ore mill both of which are suitable for large scale powder grinding.
It has been already been proven that the LM vertical mill presents a major advance in roller grinding mills. The compact vertical mill is of space-saving design which has reduced the civil construction costs, compared to other usual roller mills.
The high-efficiency, energy-saving LM Series vertical mill can simultaneously handle pulverizing, drying, sizing and air jet transport. This series vertical mill has the high grinding efficiency, meaning a 50% reduction in per-unit power consumption over ball mills.
When the LM series vertical mill works, the motor drives the grinding table through decelerator. The materials fall down the center of grinding table from feed opening. At the same time, hot air comes into the roller mill from the air inlet. Due to the centrifugal force, materials move to the edge of the grinding table. The materials are pulverized by the roller when bypass of the groove on the grinding table.
The crushed materials are brought up by vane high-speed airstream, the larger particles fall down to the grinding table for regrinding. When the materials in the airstream pass the separator on the top of the roller mill, the coarse powder will fall down the grinding table for regrinding under the function of rotation rotor.
The fine powder comes out with the airstream, and is gathered by the dust catcher. The materials content with moisture will be dried when they meet the hot airstream. Through adjusting the temperature of the hot airstream, it can meet different material’s requirement, and also through adjusting separator, it can reach proper fineness of materials.
In industries, such as cement making, power, metallurgy, chemical industry, non-metallic mineral, LM series vertical roller mills have been widely used to grind granular and powdered materials into powder with required fineness.
Regarding the vertical ore mill, the products size is ranging between 80 meshes and 325 meshes. While the finished size after ground by vertical coal mill is less than 15% (R0.08). And the biggest feeding size to be ground by LM series vertical mill must be less than 55 mm.
The particle size adjustments of this vertical mill are simple, with minimal noise and vibration. The working environment is also protected with measures to prevent particle escape.
