The hollow axis of our ball grinding mill adopts the cast steel, and the lining can be replaced. The big rotary gear is forged from cast rolling gears. To use SBM ball mill, the material to be ground is loaded into the neoprene barrel that contains grinding medias.

Ball grinding mill is of horizontal structure with the ball bearings as the main component and feeding part, discharging department, rotary department, the transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, electric control), etc.
SBM Ball Mill Working Principle
As a horizontal grinding machine, the mall mill is transmitted by the outer gear. The materials to be ground are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and different specifications of steel balls in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and impact and grind the materials. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board thus the grinding process is finished.

Ball Mill Grinding Method and Particles Size
According to the need of customers, ball mill can be of either wet or dry designs. For wet ball grinding, the particles can be sized from 2 tph to 30 tph and for dry ball grinding, you can get products with capacity from 0.5 tph to 30 tph.
After grinded by ball mill, materials can be of standard sized between 0.074 mm and 0.4 mm in diameter. Aside from general mining grinding such as cement grinding, coal mill and ore grinders, SBM ball mill is also popular for any stone quarry operations.
