Located 1,650km north of Santiago, Chile, the Chuquicamata mine is a large open pit copper mine. The copper mine, popularly known as Chuqui, has been operating since 1910. Despite being explored for over 90 years, the mine produced 29 million tonnes of copper by the end of 2007.

SBM Chile has offered copper ore crushers and mills for the project. Large quantities of the copper ore are crushed within the pit. And underground belt conveyors transport the crushed ore to the mill bins. You can get what you want after being grinded by ball mills.

In the Colombia coal mining project, SBM has offered two-stages coal crushing plants. The core equipment are coal crushers which include PE jaw crushers and PC hammer crushers. All the coal crushers are adjustable in the input sizes, finished sizes and capacity.
