Copper Ore crushing and grinding

In beneficiation plant, the basic task of crushing and grinding is to make selected materials that are disintegrated fully and has lesser grinding degree for selection work. The grain size of the selected materials should be suitable to the selected methods. If the craft and device of crushing work are not chosen correctly, or the production operation management is not goodm or the crushed final production is not fully disintegrated or is seriously crushed, technological and economic indicators in the whole concentrating mill will be reduced.

The advantages of the ore crushing process: coarse crushing, autogenous mill, ball mill

The greatest feature of autogenous mill is large ratio of reduction, which can reach or exceed the technical requirements of total reduction rate in medium or fine two section crushing.

“coarse crushing, autogenous mill, ball mill” process flow can replace “three sections crushing, ball mill” and this is development tendency.

Through comprehensive analysis and comparison, this process flow has such advantages

1.Production line is short, less workstage, less post.

2.Less equipment sets less, less daily maintenance and low cost.

3.When crushing equipments break down, ore stones whose grain size is less than 350 mm can be used and can be directly discharged to the middle of mine, without influencing the normal delivery of next process.

4.When the mud content of selected ore stones is not so high, after coarse crushing, the crushed ores can come into autogenous mill to be next crushed(the mud content has few effect on crushing flow).

5.When the ore contains small objects such as iron, these objects will not affect the normal production process of crushing flow.

6.There has no strict requirements for moisture content in ores. Wet autogenous mill has less dust and does not need to be equipped with dust collector.

7. Preliminary Statistics shows that this process flow does not need medium or fine crushing workshop, screening workshop or parts of belt conveyor so that investment can be reduced.

Copper beneficiation processing

General beneficiation process: raw coal, primary crushing, secondary crushing, storage bin, feeding, ball mill, gradation, flotation, re-flotation, concentration. Copper concentration generally can use a simple process: one time coarse concentration, two or three times fine concentration, one or two times scavenging. After a section of ore grinding, the fine ores with 200 mesh fineness is about 50%-70%. If the copper infect particle size is more fine, a stage of grinding and screening process can be used. In spot copper concentrating plant, flotation flow is mostly used. After a period of coarse grinding, coarse concentration, scavenging, the coarse concentrate is re-ground and re-selectness so that we can get copper concentrate and sulphur concentrate with high grade. Among this, the coarse ground ores with 200 mesh fineness is about 45%-50% and the fine re-ground ores with 200mesh fineness is 90%-95%.
